Slack Motherfuckers
I wrote this song about my friends in the Nashville band Slack (who have since broken up). The Carter Administration played this at the last show I played with them in 2001. It probably hasn’t seen daylight since then.
Obviously, the title is a nod to Superchunk of whom Slack and The Carter Administration were big fans. The irony being that Slack really didn’t have a bad side you could get on. They’re great guys who had a great band.
